April Redevelopment Update
Work is now well underway on the $45mil redevelopment of Kardinya Park.
The surface of the south west car park has been removed and levelled to make way for the multi-deck car park that will provide over 360 undercover bays. In addition, works have commenced internally on the expanded new Coles supermarket and fresh food market.
Kardinya Park Shopping Centre's $45million Stage 2 Redevelopment works have hit the 6 month mark!
Construction works progress on site with the below ground piling and other ground works to be completed through August. The bulk excavation of the sand continues with hundreds of trucks leaving the site each week as the former sloping car park is levelled and concrete works commenced on the footings for the car park columns and tower crane footings.
The first stage of the signalised intersection and road works have been completed. The roadworks contractor will return to site next year to complete the final stages including the traffic signals to provide customers with safe access from South Street into the centre.
The Left in/Left out Access Directly Off South Street is active: Our thanks to all customers for your patience during this process.
Exiting via Main St & Brophy Street: We recommend you continue to exit the centre via Main St & Brophy Street to prevent congestion exiting onto South Street.
Pedestrian Access Closure: Pedestrian access on the north side of South Street will remain closed for the time being.
